Welcome to JNeuroChem.com!

Hello everyone. I’m Jay; welcome to my blog. I hope to update this page quite frequently, on different topics that I find interesting.

First off, let me tell you a little bit about myself. As I mentioned, my name is Jay. No, it’s not short for anything, so do not call me Jason! :-)

I have a passion for anything health-related, particularly anything pertaining to the human mind. The brain simply fascinates me. I can spend hours pondering over the fact that there isn’t an inch on this earth that the human race hasn’t discovered, and yet the majority of the organ that we carry around each day, and that is so imperative in our human functioning, is largely still a mystery to us. Honestly, I probably should have studied neuroscience in college. Instead, I chose not to go to college at all… oh well. They were yesterday’s mistakes, and I am very happy. But I could definitely have seen myself as a scientist in another life.

Pay no attention to the ‘chem’ part of this website, I just wanted something that sounded science-y. What do you think, did I succeed? :-)

Although the brain is what I am particularly passionate about, I am honestly extremely interested in the entire human body. The majority of my blog posts here will likely have something or other to do with health or well-being,  as I am very proud of the complexity of the human body and am completely aware of the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle so that everything works properly. If you are a health fanatic, this is the right place for you!

I sincerely hope that you enjoy reading what I have to say about the world. See you soon!

- Jay
